Henry A. Backe Jr., MD, an orthopedic surgeon at Orthopaedic Specialty Group in Fairfield, Conn., has been named vice president of the Eastern Orthopaedic Association, according to a report in the Stamford Times.
The Times added that Dr. Backe has also been elected to the medical executive board of St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Conn.
Dr. Backe specializes in hand surgery, joint replacement surgery, and sports injuries related to the upper extremities.
