ConforMIS Receives CE Mark for Its iUni G2 Patient-Specific Knee Replacement System

ConforMIS, Inc. has received CE Mark Certification for its iUni® G2 patient-specific knee replacement system, providing regulatory approval for ConforMIS to begin the sale of this product throughout the European Union, according a ConforMIS news release.

The iUni G2 is the next generation of ConforMIS’s revolutionary patient-specific knee replacement system and remains the only patient-specific unicompartmental knee resurfacing implant on the market, according to the release.

The iUni G2 includes an advanced, patient-specific and wear optimized design, instrument changes for a simplified surgical technique and iView patient-specific images for improved surgical planning, according to the release. These changes provide an array of advantages to patients, surgeons and hospitals, including:
