Coding Updates for Dupuytren’s Contracture

This year, there were two new codes on the treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture, according to an AAOS Now report.

The new code, CPT 20527, for “Injection, enzyme (eg, collagenase), palmar facial cord (ie, Dupuytren’s Contracture)” has been assigned for the injection on the first day. CPT code 26341, for “manipulation, palmar facscial cord (ie, Dupuytren’s cord), postenzyme injection (eg, collagenase)” can be used to describe the second day for cord manipulation.

The codes are both single-use.
