Dr. Schickendantz is head team physician for the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. He is also president of the Major League Baseball Team Physicians Association and a member of the MLB Medical Advisory Committee.
The Center for Sports Health at Cleveland Clinic aims to provide amateur and professional athletes with services such as primary care sports medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, injury prevention and management, athletic training and sports nutrition. In his new role, Dr. Schickendantz will be leading the center’s efforts to care for athletes.
Dr. Schickendantz earned his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship in sports medicine at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo.
