Physicians at Cleveland Clinic are working to develop improved methods of diagnosing and treating athletic injuries, including concussions. Kaiser Permanente physicians are also dedicated to educating young athletes and parents about preventing injuries, particularly by urging them not to specialize in one sport all year.

PBATS is committed to preventing overuse injuries among youth athletes, particularly pitchers. A recent study has shown a link between young pitchers who overworked their arms and serious long-term injuries.
