Cleveland Browns team physician James Voos, MD, will head a study on the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine, according to wkyc.

1. Dr. Voos will monitor players’ vital statistics with wearable technology as they participate in drills.

 

2. Dr. Voos will share the data on the players’ heart rates, functional movements and workloads with other NFL physicians.

 

3. Before joining the Browns in April 2014, Dr. Voos served as the Kansas City Chiefs physician and the New York Giants physician.

 

4. He earned his medical degree from University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Mo.
