CJRI Names Charles Turkelson Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research

Charles M. Turkelson, PhD, has been appointed the director of health economics and outcomes research for the Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute at Saint Francis in Hartford.

Dr. Turkelson was previously the senior research director at the Center for Medical Policy Technology in Baltimore. He has also served as director of the department of research and scientific affairs at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
