Dr. Sliva is also an assistant board professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford and a member of the North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He volunteers his time providing orthopedic care for patients at Walter Lawson Children’s Home in Loves Park, Ill.
Dr. Sliva earned his medical degree at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. His additional training includes a spine surgery fellowship at William Beaumont in Royal Oak, Mich.
