Christian G. Zimmerman, MD (Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Boise, Idaho). Dr. Zimmerman is a neurosurgeon at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. He has a special interest in spinal issues, brain tumors and telemedicine consults.
He co-founded Idaho neurological Institute at Saint Alphonsus in 1993 and continues to serve as chairman and medical director. He is affiliated with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and The Royal Society of Medicine.
Dr. Zimmerman earned his medical degree at the University of Maryland and completed his residency at Oregon Health Science University in Portland. His additional training includes a fellowship in complex spinal disorders and instrumentation from Barrow Neurological Institute.
