Dr. Chahla, a team physician for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls and Chicago Fire, recently operated on Brazilian tennis professional Luisa Stefani, who injured her knee during the U.S. Open women’s doubles semifinals.

Earlier this year, he performed knee surgeries on Seattle Sounders midfielder Nico Lodeiro of Uruguay and tennis pro Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina.

Mr. del Potro, formerly the third-ranked player in the world, has since completed his rehab and played in an exhibition match. Mr. Lodeiro was back on the field one month after surgery, according to Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
