The collaboration marks the first time the complete suite of Cerner ambulatory solutions for physician practices are available through a national channel partner, according to the release.
Cerner and CDW Healthcare will offer physicians software, hardware and service offerings along with comprehensive client service. Physician practices can choose between a locally-hosted model and the industry-leading Cerner application service provider model hosted in its state-of-the-art technology centers in order to quickly deploy the use of EHR, according to the release.
In addition to accessing Cerner solutions, physician practices can use CDW Healthcare’s extensive technology offerings, including hardware and software products from more than 1,000 manufacturer partners.
The Cerner ambulatory EHR solution is certified by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology.
