Mr. O’Neal underwent arthroscopic knee surgery as a result of prolonged swelling due to bone-on-bone friction and arthritis. He is expected to return to play by early April. The decisions for surgery came after conservative treatment failed to alleviate the swelling.
Mr. Daniels is now under observation after bruising his spinal cord after falling during a game against the Orlando Magic. He was initially taken off the floor on a stretcher but he now has full range of motion.
