1. The average surgery center with more than 50 percent orthopedics performs an average of 3,452 (median: 2,755) cases annually. This is an average of 13.8 cases per day (median: 11.0).

2. The average surgery center with more than 50 percent orthopedics has 3.71 (median: 4.00) operating rooms. An average of 727 procedures (median: 745) are performed annually per OR, which averages to 2.9 (median: 3.0) procedures daily.

3. The average surgery center with more than 50 percent orthopedics has 2.6 (median: 1.0) procedure rooms. An average of 588 procedures (median: 467) are performed annually per OR, which averages to 2.4 (median: 1.9) procedures daily.
