carminaCarmina F. Angeles, MD, PhD (The NeuroSpine Institute, Eugene, Ore.). Dr. Angeles is a neurosurgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery. She has appointments at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center and Northwestern Neurospine Institute. She also performs cervical disc arthroplasty and treats patients with complex disorders such as degenerative scoliosis.

 

Dr. Angeles is a member of several professional societies, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons and North American Spine Society.

 

She earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College and completed her residency in neurological surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Her additional training includes time studying the brain and spine neuro-oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and a fellowship in spine and periphera nerve surgery at Stanford University.
