California Orthopedic Association Honors Dr. James Caillouette With Founders Award

The California Orthopedic Association honored James T. Caillouette, MD, surgeon-in-chief of Hoag Orthopedic Institute in Irvine, with the association’s 2012 Founders Award.

The award is given to the individual who has exemplified the group’s high standards for leadership in the field of orthopedics. During his career, Dr. Caillouette was a leader in the merger of two surgical centers and other entities into Hoag Orthopedic Institute and spearheaded the development of a physician-hospital joint venture arrangement.

Dr. Caillouette was also instrumental in implementing several administrative procedural programs to facilitate better care and overall experience for individuals seeking orthopedic treatment.
