California Orthopaedic Association Names Dr. Kevin Bozic President

The California Orthopaedic Association has named Kevin J. Bozic, MD, president, according to an AAOS Now report.

Dr. Bozic is an orthopedic surgeon with the UCSF Medical Center who has a special interest in complex knee and hip replacements with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures. He earned his medical degree at UCSF Medical School and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. His additional training includes a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Boston.

Several other orthopedic surgeons were also named COA officers, including:

•    Robert M. O’Hollaren, MD, second vice president
•    William W. Brien, MD, secretary treasurer
•    Nicolas A Abdi, MD, board member
•    Jeffrey D. Coe, MD, board member
•    Michael P. Muldoon, MD, board member
•    Michael B. Purnell, MD, board member
•    Jennifer M. Weiss, MD, board member
