California college Invests $36M in new sports medicine, kinesiology facility

Orange Coast Community College in Costa Mesa, Calif., has broken ground on its new $36 million facility, reports GlobeSt.

Three things to know:

1. The 88,000-square-foot multi-building center will feature sports medicine, kinesiology studies, athletics and physical education.

2. The project will total three buildings and include a 65-meter competition pool, a 25-meter instructional pool, a 450-person bleacher and support spaces for aquatics programs.

3. OCC currently features a 164-acre campus and enrolls over 25,000 students each semester.
