Birmingham, Ala., Orthopedic Surgeon to Move to Trinity Medical Center

Birmingham, Ala., Orthopedic Surgeon Lawrence Lemak, MD, will be moving his practice to Trinity Medical Center’s east Birmingham campus, according to a report by the Birmingham Business Journal.

Trinity has submitted a proposal to state regulators to finish HealthSouth’s Digital Hospital, which Dr. Lemak helped design before financial scandals forced HealthSouth to abandon the project.

Dr. Lemak, who cut ties with HealthSouth, will move his sports medicine and orthopedics practice to a professional office building on Trinity’s campus.
