Here are three things to know:

1. iMass 360 is a mini-open, microsurgical 360-degree fusion procedure for the lumbar spine. Robert Masson, MD, developed the procedure.

2. The procedure combines traditional fusion techniques with advanced implants and instruments to offer surgeons a less invasive muscle-sparing procedural solution.

3. Biedermann Motech and Dr. Masson designed iMass 360 to treat any level of the lumbar spine between L2 and S1 with one small posterior midline skin incision.
