Baylor Regional Medical Center in Texas Names Dr. Robert Berry Medical Director of Sports Medicine

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano, Texas, named orthopedic surgeon Robert Berry, DO, medical director of sports medicine, according to a hospital news release.

Dr. Berry is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He has several years of experience providing medical care to professional athletes and teams, including as team physician for the San Diego Chargers and the San Diego Riptide arena football team.

Dr. Berry earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif., and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Riverside, Calif. His additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at Oasis in San Diego.
