Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano Names Dr. Simon Mears Medical Director, Total Joints

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano (Texas) has named Simon Mears, MD, medical director of total joints, according to a Plano Star Courier report.

In his new role, Dr. Mears will oversee the hip and knee replacement program at Baylor Plano. He previously provided care at The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. He serves as the deputy editor of Geriatric Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation and has authored more than 75 articles and book chapters, according to the report.
