Dr. Maughon earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. His additional training includes a sports medicine fellowship at American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala.
