ASIPP Releases 2013 Guidelines for Interventional Spinal Pain Relief Techniques

The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians has released its 2013 spinal interventional techniques guidelines, which will be published in a special April issue of Pain Physician, according to a Pain Medicine News report.

To develop these guidelines, ASIPP consulted with a multidisciplinary panel of 51 experts in various fields to review evidence and formulate recommendations for interventional techniques in managing chronic spinal pain.

The panel used rigorous criteria for techniques to be included in the analysis, according to the report.
