AOSSM, Musculoskeletal Foundation to Grant $300k for Meniscal Allograft Research

American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine has partnered with the Musculoskeletal Foundation to announce a one-time grant to support research focused on meniscal allograft, according to an AOSSM news release.

The $300,000 grant will be awarded to foster research for clinically relevant biomechanical studies, basic science studies, preclinical or clinical studies related to meniscal transplantation, according to the release. The organizations encourage collaborative, multi-center studies.

The application deadline for the grant is April 1, 2012.
