Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Physicians Develop Arthroscopic Triple-Row Rotator Cuff Repair

Roger V. Ostrander, MD, and James R. Andrews, MD, founder of Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla., have developed and perfected the arthroscopic triple-row rotator cuff repair technique, according to a Digital Journal report.

The minimally invasive procedure to repair large and massive rotator cuff tears is a modified suture bridge technique. The procedure is designed to restore the patient’s natural anatomy. Patients undergoing the procedure often experience less pain and have a faster recovery time than those undergoing the traditional open procedures.
