Andrew Cappuccino, MD (Buffalo Spine Surgery, Lockport, N.Y.). Dr. Cappuccino is a spine surgeon with Buffalo Spine Surgery and on staff at several local hospitals. He also serves as the assistant orthopedic surgeon for the Buffalo Bills. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and charter diplomat of the American Board of Spinal Surgery.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Cappuccino focuses on research. He participated in a clinical trial for cervical artificial disc replacement, spinal fusions and endoscopic spine surgery. He also has expertise in lateral lumbar interbody fusion and authored several publications based on his research.
Dr. Cappuccino earned his medical degree at State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed a spine surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins University Scoliosis and Spine Center in Baltimore.
