American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors Recognizes the AAOS Journal

The Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons recently received the Golden Award for the Best Peer Reviewed Journal by the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors.

The journal is disseminated to 30,000 members of AAOS and 20,000 additional readers worldwide. The journal includes six to eight clinical review articles per issue, covering a wide range of orthopedic areas.

The annual award recognizes editorial excellence and achievement in healthcare publishing. Jeffrey Fischgrund, MD, is editor-in-chief of JAAOS.
