American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society Awards 4 Surgeons Research Grants

Four physicians have received American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society Research Grants in 2013, according to an AAOS Now report.

The grants were awarded to:

•    Jonathan T. Deland, MD, chief of the foot and ankle service at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City;
•    Mark Drakos, MD, a foot and ankle surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery;
•    Jeremy LaMothe, MD, an orthopedic trauma fellow at Hospital for Special Surgery;
•    Lew C. Schon, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with Greater Chesapeake Orthopaedic Associates at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.
