2. He exited his first start this season due to right bicep stiffness on April 5.
3. A scan led to a diagnosis of irritation to his right arm’s cutaneous nerve on April 7.
4. The Angels announced Mr. Richards’ most recent assessment and exam showed mild improvement in bicep strength and irritation of the cutaneous nerve.
5. Supervised by team physician Steve Yoon, MD, of Los Angeles-based Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic, the stem cell treatment had initially showed promise, according to USA Today.
