Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Illinois Names Dr. Wayne M. Goldstein Orthopedic Department Chairman

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill., recently named Wayne M. Goldstein, MD, chairman of the hospital’s new orthopedic department, according to a hospital news release.

Dr. Goldstein will lead more than 40 orthopedic surgeons who have expertise in joint replacement, spine surgery and pediatric orthopedics. Dr. Goldstein is also the founder and president of the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute in Morton Grove. He previously served as vice chairman of orthopedics at NorthShore University Health System and is a clinical professor of orthopedics at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Goldstein earned his medical degree at the Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine in Chicago and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Illinois Hospital. His additional training includes a fellowship in arthritic reconstructive surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
