For more than 10 years, AAOS has sponsored a one-day volunteer build to create a playground in the city where AAOS will hold its annual meeting. The organization partners with KaBOOM!, a nonprofit dedicated to saving play for children.

During this initial event, children and parents gathered to design their “dream park” and explore their ideal play space. The park will be constructed on Feb. 7, 2012.
