The campaign encourages drivers to keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel to avoid accidents and injuries. This is the third year of the “Decide to Drive” campaign, and this year the two groups plan to disseminate stories about distracted driving, among other initiatives, to spread the word.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there were 3,092 fatalities associated with distracted driving crashes in 2010.
