The change will be effective with the March 2014 issue. The journal will be published under the Lippincott Williams & Wilkins journal portfolio. LWW will enhance JAAOS publication channels with print, digital and mobile platforms, according to the organization’s news release, and AAOS members will be able to access the journal content through the free iPad app downloadable from iTunes.

Institutional libraries will be able to access JAAOS through HighWire or Ovid platforms.

The journal will now feature LWW’s publish-ahead-of-print production to deliver online articles soon after acceptance. LWW will continue JAAOS’s participation in the Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative.
