AAOS Names North Carolina Orthopaedic Association’s Allen Skipper Executive Director of the Year

Allen Skipper, executive director of the North Carolina Orthopaedic Association, was recognized as the Executive Director of the Year by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, according to an AAOS Now report.

Mr. Skipper is credited with turning around the small and financially instable group into an active and growing organization, according to the report. Membership to NCOA grew from 255 to 399 during the past five years and includes approximately 60 percent of practicing orthopedists in North Carolina.
