The campaign was initiated by the American Board of Internal Medicine Foundation and helps physicians and consumers connect about medical test overuse to hopefully make more effective care choices. AAOS plans to initiate five evidence-based recommendations as a partner in the campaign, according to the report.
Some recommendations were released last year and another set will be released on Feb. 21.
