AAOS Gives 3 Scientific Exhibits the Award of Excellence

Three scientific exhibits at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting received the Award of Excellence, according to an AAOS Now report.

The exhibits were judged on several criteria, including medical or scientific contribution, educational value and use of graphics. The exhibits honored were:
•    Patholotic, Serologic and Tribologic Findings in Failed Metal on Metal Total Hip Arthroplasty, presented by Christopher Pelt, MD, and co-authors
•    Improving Accuracy of Acetabular Component Orientation: Avoiding Malposition, presented by Joseph T. Moskal, MD, and his co-author
•    Managing Bone Loss in Anterior Instability, presented by Mark Schrumpf, MD, and co-authors
