8 sports medicine physicians on the move — June/July 2016

Here are eight sports medicine physicians who have recently joined hospitals or practice or gained promotions.

Matthew Popa, MD, joined the University of North Carolina’s Regional Physicians’ Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice.

 

Southern Indiana Orthopedics welcomed Sylvester Youlo, MD, to its team.

 

Nikhil Verma, MD, was selected to be the director of the Division of Sports Medicine for the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center.

 

Potsdam, N.Y.-based Cheel Medical Center announced that Robert S. Cummings, MD,would be joining its team.

 

David Moore, MD, will be the new team physicians for the Tennessee Titans.

 

Western Kentucky University Athletics announced that Tad Seifert, MD, would be joining its sports medicine staff.

 

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush based in Chicago reported Joshua Blomgren, DO, and Brian Forsythe, MD, will be joining the Chicago Fire Soccer Club as team physicians.
