7D Surgical forms distribution agreement with LifeHealthcare: 3 details

LifeHealthcare, an Illovo, South Africa-based medical devices provider, will distribute 7D Surgical’s imaging technologies in Australia and New Zealand, according to Compelo Medical Devices.

Here are three things to know:

1. 7D Surgical designs optical technologies and machine vision-based registration algorithms to assist in spine surgeries and cranial image guidance.

2. The contract is for three years, and it is 7D Surgical’s first partnership outside of North America.

3. In addition to 7D Surgical, LifeHealthcare has distribution agreements with K2M, Australian Biotechnologies, Mazor Robotics, Samsung Neurologica Mobile CT and Mizuho OSI.
