2. The 10,000-square-foot center operates on the first floor of UPMC’s Eye and Ear Institute. Pitt raised about $3 million for the center.
3. Medrobotics is Pittsburgh Creates’ first partnering company. The new center’s medical director Umamaheswar Duvvuri, MD, PhD, said that the center aims to formalize six partnerships by the end of 2018.
