3 sports medicine physicians on the move in February

Here are three sports medicine physicians who recently joined new practices or took on new positions in the past month:

Thomas Sisk, MD, joined Monongahela (Pa.) Valley Hospital and Mon-Vale Primary Care Practices.

Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedic Institute partnered with the Philadelphia Fusion — the city’s first professional esports team. Sports medicine physicians Bradley Smith, MD, Edward Rosero, DO, and Robert Franks, DO, will provide care to the esports team.

Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, Wis., formed a joint venture with Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota to provide athletic services. Emergency medicine and sports medicine physician Alecia Gende, DO, will serve as medical director of SMU athletics.
