Ali Oliashirazi, MD; Alan Koester, MD; and Zach Tankersley, MD, from the department of orthopedics at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, W.Va., will soon begin providing services at Pleasant Valley Hospital.
Dr. Oliashirazi is the founding chair of Marshall University’s department of orthopedics and also serves as a professor in the department. He focuses on hip and knee replacement surgery, including computer-navigated surgery.
Dr. Koester is an associate professor and chief of hand surgery at Marshall Orthopaedics. He focuses on finger, hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder problems.
Dr. Tankersley is an associate professor and chief of the foot and ankle surgical service at Marshall Orthopaedics. He focuses on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, deformity correction and diabetic limb preservation surgery.
