Under the organization, the groups can contract with insurance carriers as a single unit. The original groups remain different business units, but share back-end services, marketing and technology across the larger group, according to the report.
According to the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics website, the organization includes 125 physicians, and it has locations in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C.
