22% of Orthopedic Surgeons Take 4+ Vacation Weeks Per Year

Around 22 percent of orthopedic surgeons take more than four weeks of vacation per year, according to the Medscape Orthopedist Lifestyle Report 2014.

By contrast, more than 50 percent of anesthesiologists said they take more than four weeks of vacation annually. In general, Americans take on average 16 paid vacation days per year, according to the report.
