21.7% of Hospitals Adopted CPOE in 2010

In 2010, 21.7 percent of hospitals adopted computerized physician order entry, compared to 15.7 percent in 2009, according to research firm KLAS.

The KLAS report, “CPOE 2011: The ARRA Effect,” also found Cerner’s Millennium PowerChart had the most hospitals live with CPOE.
