The project was first envisioned in 2002 as a $300 million clinic and a 97-bed hospital. The project will now start with Phase 1, a four-story outpatient clinic expected to house 75 physicians initially (with room for up to 120 later on), 800 other staffers, an urgent care center and outpatient surgery.

There is no word yet on when the hospital will break ground, but work on the clinic is expected to start soon, now that $15 million in soil remediation work has been completed.
