15 Compensation Statistics on Physicians as CEOs

The average compensation of a physician who was CEO and/or president of a practice, hospital or health system was $410,000 in 2013 — an increase of 4 percent from data obtained in 2011.

Data come from the 2013 physician executive compensation survey, which was conducted by Cejka Executive Search and the American College of Physician Executives. The groups received responses from more than 2,300 physician executives.
