$10M sports medicine center at Texas hospital delayed until 2021

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen’s $10 million sports medicine facility has delayed its opening until 2021 due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Dallas Morning News reports.

The 31,000-square-foot facility will provide orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation and athletic performance training.

It will also feature a full-length soccer field and an indoor training turf field.

Texas Health plans to open the facility in January.
