Anika Therapeutics will present its Hyalofast hyaluronic acid-based scaffold for cartilage repair at the 2019 International Cartilage Regeneration and Joint Preservation Society Focus Meeting in Rome from June 5 to 7.

Three things to know:

1. Hyalofast is a HA-based scaffold for hyaline-like cartilage regeneration used to treat cartilage injuries and defects.

2. Hyalofast is enrolling patients in its global FastTRACK phase III trial and awaiting regulatory submission in the U.S.

3. Anika will also be showcasing its entire regenerative medicine and orthobiologics line at the ICRS Focus Meeting.

"Hyalofast represents a remarkable advance in supporting cartilage regrowth using a convenient, one-step, minimally invasive procedure that can be tailored to each individual patient's needs," said Joseph Darling, president and CEO of Anika Therapeutics.
