2 spine nanotechnology device updates

Nanotechnology is still in the innovative stages for orthopedic and spine devices.

Two recent updates on companies and products featuring nanotechnology:

1. On May 9, Medtronic acquired Titan Spine, known for its nanoLOCK proprietary surface technology.

3. In December, PrinterPrezz opened a 3D printing and nanotechnology innovation center in Silicon Valley. The company has multiple power-bed metal 3D printers onsite and its nanotechnologies include nanometrology, nanocoating and nano-etching.
