Sales of Life Spine expandable titanium system up 40% in Q1: 4 key notes

Life Spine reported significant first quarter growth in PROLIFT Expandable TLIF/PLIF System sales.

 

Four things to know:

1. The PROLIFT sales jumped 40 percent in the first quarter of 2019 over the same period last year. The company attributes sales growth to clinical review and full adoption of the company's surgeon and hospital partners.

2. Original surgeon adopters reported nearly 100 percent continued adoption rate.

3. The PROLIFT technology is a titanium expandable posterior interbody solution with post packing capacity and Life Spine's proprietary surface treatment OSSEO-LOC.

4. The device is designed for in-situ bone graft material placement after the surgeon places and expands the implant.
